Dr Liz Considine

Senior Post-Doctoral Scientist, SDAU

Dr Liz Considine is a Senior Post-Doctoral Scientist in the Statistics and Data Analysis Unit at the HRB Clinical Research Facility, UCC.

In this role, under the mentorship of Dr. Darren Dahly, she supports academic-led clinical studies and translational research projects through statistical analysis, study design input, and the development of reproducible data workflows.

Dr. Considine graduated from UCC with a BSc in Biochemistry and completed a PGDip in Genetic Epidemiology at the University of Sheffield before returning to UCC to undertake a PhD in Bioinformatics.  Her experience includes research in bioinformatics, diagnostic biomarkers, and applications of AI to health data at UCC. She also has experience in rational drug design, clinical trial reporting, and regulatory communications from her time in the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Considine also lectures in pharmacology in the UCC School of Pharmacy.
