Create a sustainable, efficient, cost effective facility that seamlessly supports high quality Patient Focused Research throughout the Academic Departments, Research Units and affiliated hospitals with the University, and prioritises the safeguarding of research participants’ rights and welfare.

 

A Clinical Trial site of Choice in Ireland

Establish a reputation for quality and consistent, on time and to target, service delivery.

 

Academic Research Excellence Integrated in Every Clinical Speciality

Support academic grant submissions and the growth of a high quality academic, Patient Focused Research agenda within every clinical speciality in keeping with their resources and ambition.

 

UCC, An Academic Sponsor of Excellence

Provide cost-effective, high-quality, fit-for-purpose sponsor services to UCC and so allow it to serve as the legal Sponsor of Regulated Academic Clinical Trials.

 

A Research Co-ordinating Centre for academic studies

Provide the specialist staff and processes to provide efficient, timely, high-quality set-up and coordination of academically funded single and multi-centre studies.

 

To Train the Clinical Trialists of Tomorrow

To develop the resources, educational programs and appropriate mentoring environment so as to improve the awareness and quality of Clinical Trials in Ireland.
