Covid-19 related studies
Throughout the Covid-19 lockdown, the HRB Clinical Research Facility in UCC has been a vibrant hub of activity, supporting many Covid-19 related studies as well as continuing to provide vital medications to patients on existing regulated clinical trials.
One of the several trials being supported by CRF-C clinical operations is a point of care study, testing over 500 healthcare workers for presence of Covid-19 antibodies. To date over 300 have been recruited onto this study. The study will provide further information around immune response to COVID-19 infection and infection rates in Health Care Workers.
