Maeve McGovern
Maeve holds a first-class honours degree in BSc Public Health Sciences. She has previously completed a 12-week work placement with the INFANT research centre and later received an award to work as a research assistant on a COVID-19 study with the UCC School of Public health. Maeve joined the CRF-UCC in November 2021 to work on the PROTECT study: a multi-centre study based in two hospitals which works to reduce patient harm using daily safety huddles. In March 2022, Maeve joined the CRF-UCC Quality and Regulatory Affairs Department in a part-time role as a research assistant and later began working in a full-time position as a research support officer/study monitor in June 2022.
