Katie Spillane

Katie graduated from the University of Limerick with a BSc in General Nursing in 2019. After graduating, she travelled to London and worked in the Intensive Therapies Unit in King George Hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic. On her return to Ireland in 2021, she worked in Cork University Hospitals Intensive Therapies Unit. Here she completed the National Foundation module in Critical Care Nursing in University College Cork. Katie commenced employment with the CRF-UCC in 2022, working in the role of Research Nurse. She currently works on several clinical trials in the area of adult asthma and critical care.
